When can I go on a tour?
Anytime! Thirsty Critters tours can run any day of the week. Saturdays are generally best, but any other day is also fine.
Is there a minimum tour size?
Ideally we like to take bookings of six or more people, to make the tour worthwhile. For groups of six or more, we charge per person. If you have less than six people but would still like to go on a tour, we run private tours at a set fee per group. Alternately, get in touch and if we are running an existing group tour, you are welcome to join us.
Where do you depart from?
Depending on group size, we will pick you up from any central location prior to departure, including residential addresses. Alternately, we can pick up from Roma Street station. Depending on the tour, we usually depart at 8.30am or 9am.
Can you pick me up from my hotel?
Sure we can, if it’s in the City or Valley area – just ask!

Do you accommodate Buck’s Parties?
Of course!
Can I take my work team on the tour for a bit of team-building and motivation?
Certainly. There’s ample time to conduct team building exercises.
How much does the tour cost?
The cost of the tour depends on the tour, and how many people book. Check our price guide for details.
Do you supply the beer?
No, Thirsty Critters technically don’t supply you with any beer. We’re just the middle-man – we get you to where the beer is being served!
What do we eat for lunch?
Depending on the tour, lunch is provided at either the Byron Bay Brewery, or MT Brewery. Both have a great bar menu consisting of good pub fare like burgers, fish and chips, etc.
